Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to:

• Congress registration fees and banquet fees for Religions 360° (Bucharest, 20–25 September 2026), paid by bank transfer under the conditions published on the Participate page;
• Donations and voluntary financial contributions made by bank card and processed by Wise or Stripe.

Since a donation is voluntary and does not constitute the purchase of a good or service, the statutory right of withdrawal under Romanian GEO 34/2014 on distance contracts is in principle not applicable to it. Nevertheless, the association applies the policy described below on its own initiative.

Registration fees are refunded in full for cancellations received before 30 June 2026.

No refund is made for cancellations received after 30 June 2026 or in case of no-show. Requests should be addressed to [email protected].

A card payment may be interrupted at any time before payment confirmation, by abandoning the payment form or closing the processor's page. In this case no debit is made and no formality is required.

The association refunds a card payment in full, at the payer's request, within 14 calendar days of the transaction date, in particular in the following situations:

• Double or multiple debiting of the same payment;
• An incorrect amount, different from the one selected in the form;
• A transaction not authorised by the cardholder;
• An input error on the payer's part.

Requests submitted after the 14-day period are assessed individually, the association reserving the right to approve or reject them with reasons.

Cancellation or refund requests are submitted by e-mail and must contain:

• The payer's full name;
• The approximate date and time of the transaction;
• The amount paid;
• For card payments, the last 4 digits of the card used;
• The reason for the request.

The association acknowledges receipt within 2 working days and communicates its decision within a maximum of 10 working days.

Card refunds are made exclusively to the card used for the original payment, in the same currency. Bank-transfer refunds are made to the account from which the payment originated. No refunds are made in cash or to any other payment instrument. All bank charges in connection with transfers are borne by the participant.

The amount is credited within a maximum of 10 working days from approval of the request. The time at which the amount actually appears on your statement depends on the issuing bank.
